Research at an hourly rate
Research at the National Archives, Kew
I am within easy reach of the National Archives in Kew which house millions of records including political, social and military, to name just a few. If traveling there yourself is difficult, then I can search out the records you need.
Cost: £20 per hour plus printing charges where necessary
Project time: dependent on individual requirements
House History Package
Do you live in a house that is Edwardian or older? Have you ever wondered who lived there in previous decades & what their lives were like? I can research the history of your British house (or one that your ancestors lived in) from it's early days right through to 1939. My findings will be given to you in a presentation folder, along with any census returns, electoral registers, military records, photos & newspaper articles that have been unearthed during my research.
Cost: £200 - £500 depending on age of house
Project time: dependent on individual requirements

If you are interested in the "House History Package", then once you've supplied me with the address of the house you want me to look into, then I can do a "viability search" to check there are enough records out there to procede (this stage is free of charge)
If you have a tight budget to stick to, then you might want to consider hiring me at an hourly rate. This way you can tailor make your own package or just let me find that missing ancestor who has left you at a "brick wall" in your own research. I can also work directly within your Ancestry.com family tree to help you make progress.
